Businesses have a responsibility to get to grips with electrical and electronic waste and dispose of these tricky items with care.

WEEE waste collection

WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is one of the fastest growing waste streams in the UK. It includes everything from outdated IT equipment, LED lights and vapes to plugs, cords and batteries. In the UK, only around one-third of e-waste is disposed of and recycled correctly, causing growing environmental and ethical issues that affect many businesses.

In recent years, regulations surrounding WEEE waste collection have become quite strict, requiring businesses to comply with legal requirements and disposing of e-waste via authorised and licensed facilities.

At Everflow, we provide a reliable and cost-effective WEEE waste collection and disposal service, ensuring your business stays compliant with current legislation and protecting the environment from hazardous electronic waste.

We make it our mission to bring environmentally friendly and cost-effective waste management to organisations all over the UK, so don’t hesitate. Get in touch today to find out more: 0330 822 1716

WEEE waste disposal for businesses

There are many serious consequences businesses can face if they fail to comply with WEEE regulations, including unlimited fines, enforcement action and reputational damage. Incorrect disposal of electrical waste can also cause significant environmental harm, as hazardous components such as heavy metals and lithium batteries can contaminate soil and water.

Businesses have a legal Duty of Care to ensure that Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is stored, transported and processed correctly. That includes separating WEEE from general waste and maintaining correct documentation.

Rest assured, with Everflow, we provide compliant and fully managed WEEE waste disposal services, helping your business stay aligned with UK regulations and sustainability targets.
