The Everflow team are delighted to be shortlisted for Business Innovation of the Year at the British Business Awards 2026.
We’re thrilled to share that Everflow has been shortlisted for Business Innovation of the Year at the British Business Awards 2026. It’s a huge honour and a celebration of our team’s hard work, forward thinking and commitment to disrupting the utilities market so that it works better for business customers around the UK.
This shortlist means Everflow is rubbing shoulders with some of the most recognisable and influential names in British and global business, including AstraZeneca, Moderna, Iceland, Warburtons, Nando’s Dishoom, Holland & Barrett and more.
It’s moments like these that make us reflect on our growth and amazing team. With over 120,000 business customers and 200,000 supply points, we have become the fastest-growing water retailer in the UK. This would not be possible without our team, which has grown from 174 employees in 2023 to over 230 in 2025.
While we continue to invest in innovation, it’s the people behind Everflow that sets us apart.
As our CEO, Craig Dallison, says:
”It’s all about talented local teams who care deeply about doing the right thing for our customers and our community. This shortlist means a lot to us. We’re now flying the flag for the North East on a national stage. Recognition alongside some of the UK’s biggest household names shows just how far a business born and built in Peterlee can go.”
As a shortlisted organisation, we’re also proud to be featured on the British Business Leaders List, which means we’re setting the benchmark for modern enterprise and are driving the UK’s economic future.
About the British Business Awards
This year, Everflow will join 149 other UK businesses who have been nominated for awards. This includes household names, global giants, innovative UK SMEs and family businesses at this year’s ceremony.
Co-hosted by comedians Rob Brydon and Elaine C Smith, the event will once again include an opening address from patron, Sir Bob Geldof. And the 2026 edition will feature a little Hollywood sparkle thanks to an on-stage conversation with none other than George Clooney.
A record number of more than 400 companies entered the awards this year. Those selected for the shortlist have undergone evaluations across five core pillars: business performance, innovation, workforce and culture, customer impact, and contribution to society and the wider economy.
Everflow achieved one of the highest combined scores across these metrics. As a result, we now move forward to the independent judging panel. The panel includes 18 leading figures from British industry. Former Unilever CEO Alan Jope CBE and Coutts Bank CEO Emma Crystal will chair the panel.
This nomination motivates us to keep pushing boundaries, championing businesses and making utilities simpler for every customer we serve.
