Everflow wins double at North East Business Awards 2026

Everflow takes home both the Business of the Year and the Innovation Award at the sub-regional North East Business Awards 2026
We’re thrilled to announce that we have been named Business of the Year and claimed the Innovation Award at the Durham, Sunderland and South Tyneside heat of the North East Business Awards 2026.
This accolade means we will now go on to represent Durham, Sunderland and South Tyneside at the North East Business Awards Grand Final, where we’ll compete against the winners of the other two sub-regional heats for the overall regional titles. The event – held in partnership with Sage and in association with Newcastle University – takes place at Hardwick Hall on 1st October and we couldn’t be more excited to join the other area winners at this prestigious event.
This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our amazing team whose commitment to making utilities simple for business customers has led them to undertake many complicated challenges along the way.

About the North East Business Awards
The North East Business Awards is one of the most prestigious business accolades in the region. It carries a legacy of more than 25 years celebrating the region’s most outstanding businesses and the people behind them. The ceremony does not just celebrate commercial success, it highlights businesses that go the extra miles for customers and communities. It recognises businesses that are creating jobs, investing locally and contributing to the betterment of the North East.
Every year, the competition begins with a series of sub-regional heats. These are – Northumberland & Tyneside; Durham, Sunderland & South Tyneside; and Teeside. In the Grand Final, this year taking place on 1st of October at Hardwick Hall at Sedgefield, County Durham, the best businesses in the region compete for the best titles.
The judging panel consists of independent local business leaders, previous award winners, Reach plc and representatives of associated partners.
