2024 Eligibility Criteria

Please find below the eligibility criteria for the different products:

Evertalk:

-For a VoIP phone system to work, you have to have a modem and router, which are part of your existing internet setup. You will be able to make calls from any device that has your call software has been downloaded to for example this can be a smartphone, laptop, or desktop. 

-You may also want to continue to use a hardware phone device for your VOIP service.  A hardware phone device is an optional extra as part of our Evertalk bundle and is an upfront charge which will be shown on your first invoice and taken as part of your first monthly payment.

Evernet:

-In additional to Evertalk, SoGEA has additional criteria that needs to be checked.  SoGEA is a standalone, broadband-only connection that uses the existing Openreach telephone line network to deliver internet services and does not require a phone line to be installed. Instead, a broadband signal is provided through an Ethernet cable directly into a router for fast, reliable, and high-quality broadband.

-Before selecting this product please ensure that an Openreach connection is available for your to be able to receive SoGEA. 

-Eligibility checks will be completed by our Telecoms Customer Service team upon receipt of your order.

-In some instances it may be possible for a self install to take place, if an engineer is required you will be made aware by our Telecoms Customer Service Team and additional install charges may be applicable.

- It is essential that the porting of any existing phone numbers is completed before the service is switched to SoGEA, or numbers can be irretrievably lost.

Everfibre:

-You will need to contact a member of the Telecoms Customer Service Team to complete the eligibility check before selecting this product.

- An eligbiity check will be required to see FTTP or “Ultrafast Full Fibre” is already available to you and if not, then whether FTTP is coming soon to your area.

-If you do not already have a fibre connection to your property you'll need an engineer to install your broadband if you don't have an existing phone line and take out an ADSL or standard fibre plan that needs a phone connection.  Additional charges for this may be applicable.

-A member of our Telecoms Customer Service Team will be able to discuss with you other options if our Everfibre product is not available to you.
