Authentication issues
An authentication issue on a router refers to problems that occur when devices (such as computers, smartphones, or tablets) attempt to connect to the router but fail to verify their identity. This can prevent users from accessing the network and the internet.
If the credentials are correct, the device is allowed to access the network. If they are incorrect or if there are issues during the process, authentication fails.
How to resolve authentication issues
Double-check the Wi-Fi Password: Ensure you’re entering the correct password for the network.
Reboot the Router: Restarting the router can resolve temporary glitches or connection issues.
Forget and Reconnect: On the device trying to connect, forget the Wi-Fi network and then reconnect, entering the password again.
